Importance of Symbian OS within the wireless market:
- This course provides an overview of the Symbian OS operating system;
- It includes Symbian OS Overview, Interaction Design for Symbian OS;
- Symbian OS Essentials, introduction of MIDP Programming on Symbian OS, Java Symbian OS, Symbian OS Communications Programming, Multimedia Programming;
- Architectural View of Symbian OS ,Symbian OS Client/server Programming, Implementing Device Drivers for Symbian OS, Memory management on Symbian OS, Implementing Symbian OS Communications Modules;
Importance of Symbian OS within the wireless market: can be gauged from the fact that over 80% of mobile phones use it .This course provides an overview of the Symbian OS operating system.
What you will learn:
Students can gain basic knowledge about how the operating system is structured and how application development in Symbian OS takes place. Both handset manufactures and operators are moving from closed systems to open systems, giving users the ability to download applications and services. Symbian, an advanced and open platform , is in a unique position for such services.

Prerequisite:
Eligibility- B.E, B.Tech, BIT, MIT, BCA, BSC, MSC, PGDCA, MS, M.Tech, MCA & PHD. Persons having background of telecom and must have basic idea of OSs.
